MULTIMEDIA & OPERATING SYSTEM LAB

To perform image editing operations, sound editing operations, 2D/3D animations using Photoshop Tool, sound forge software and flash tools, for providing practical exposure to the students in open source software’s and Linux platform

ORACLE LAB

ORACLE lab is furnished with50 personal computers with database client software enabling the students to create and interact with the database. The Application software includes Oracle 10-g which works under Windows and Oracle Express on Linux.

CTS OPEN SOURCE LAB

To download Free / Open Source Software’s from the web which will help students to develop their own programs / mini projects and do research projects.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

Post Graduates will be able to:

  • 1. Understand, analyze and develop computer applications in the areas related to Cloud Computing, web design, big data analytics, mobile communication, Internet of Things, data mining and networking.
  • 2. Apply standard Software Engineering practices and strategies in software project development using open-source programming environment to deliver a quality product.

    Identify, formulate, research literature, and solve complex computing problems reaching substantiated conclusions using fundamental principles of mathematics, computing sciences, and relevant domain disciplines.

    Design and evaluate solutions for complex computing problems, and design and evaluate systems, components, or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
