Kongu Engineering College, an institution of academic excellence was established by the Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust in 1984 by 41 philanthropists with an aim to provide value based quality education to young aspirants of this region and impart technical and managerial skills of a higher magnitude to meet the growing needs of the society.College has grown to an annual intake of 2469 students at present.
